This month, under the watchful eye of executive chef, Liam Kirwan, Panorama Bistro at The Montenotte Hotel is delighted to introduce a new à la carte menu. To start, guests can tuck into The Montenotte Seafood Chowder accompanied by fresh soda bread, or for a lighter option there is a Baked Salfsify and Parmesan with a watercress salad and roast garlic cream or Confit Duck and Blackcurrant Salad on a bed of beet leaves and roast hazelnuts. For mains, there is a range of options available to guests from Sirloin and Fillet Steaks to locally supplied Ballinwillin Venison Wellington. This tender cut of meat includes sides of roast celeriac, cavolo nero and dark chocolate. Not overlooking the vegetarians, there is a Split Pea and Chilli Corn Bread Fritter and Ardsallagh Goat Cheese and Wild Mushroom Rigatoni on offer. Saving the best for last, chef Liam has created Chocolate Salt Caramel Tart and Cheesecake for dessert.

Panorama Bistro & Terrace has also recently been awarded an AA Rosette for Culinary Excellence. General Manager of The Montenotte, Brian Bowler, said: “We are thrilled to receive such a prestigious accolade for Panorama Bistro here at the Montenotte Hotel. Liam and the kitchen team work hard to deliver inspired daily menus with due regard for provenance, drawing inspiration and ingredients from the wealth of local producers on our doorstep.”
