Speaking from the Munster Agricultural Showgrounds where the set up for the show is already well underway, Chairman Robert Harkin said:

“Cork Summer Show always offers lots of thrills and fun for visitors, and this year the limit is the sky!  There is nothing quite like the sensation of hovering in a powerful, fast-moving helicopter – and you can really take in the size and scale of this show, whilst also admiring the breath-taking countryside of Cork, and local landmarks. It’s a super new addition to the show and one which we believe will be very popular indeed. Don’t miss this once in a lifetime opportunity to take a trip on a helicopter this weekend.”

Photography and video are welcome on board the helicopter rides so that the experience can be shared with friends and family.  Booking for the helicopter rides is recommended at Prices for one adult is €39, with child and adult rate of €75 and a family of four rate of €145.
