How To Prep and Care For Your Iconic Bronze Tan;

Be it at home tanning or a professional spray tan, the best results always come in the prep! Iconic Bronze Luxury Tanning now divulge their top tips for creating the ideal pre bronzing canvas.

 Prepare the skin by shaving and/or waxing at least 24 hours before application to allow the skin to settle as this can cause irritation and leave you with an uneven tan if applied straight away.

– If you have tan residue left from your last application, Iconic Bronze Luxury Tanning ‘s Self-Tan Eraser is designed to be a fast-working formula that is tough on tan yet gentle on even the most sensitive of skin. The effortless foaming cleanser will effectively remove self-tan in just 5 – 10 minutes without the harsh exfoliating we have all had to endure time and time again when it comes to removing faded tan.

– Exfoliating can cause the skin to become very dry so ensure you moisturise well with an oil-free moisturiser to particularly dry areas – knees, elbows, hands and feet – to ensure an even tan and allow it to develop on the skin but not adhere to the drier patches and leave 24 hours before you apply your tan.

– If you’re tanning at home, start by applying your preferred Iconic Bronze Luxury Tanning product with the brands double-sided velvet tanning mitt to clean dry skin starting at the ankles moving upwards in circular motions, leaving the face, hands and feet until last using only the residue product on the mitt to lightly apply to these remaining areas. Wear loose clothing while your tan develops, this ensures a perfectly even tan

Shower off the guide colour the morning after, or after the recommended time period as specified by your Iconic Bronze Luxury Tanning product. Make sure to tap the skin dry and avoid any unnecessary rubbing with towels. In the days following your application / professional spray tan to keep the skin hydrated ensuring your glow stays perfect for longer.

How to pick your favourite product? Why not try them all?. “I wear all the shades,” says Stinson, “Depending on my mood, on what I’m wearing. People will now have two or three variations and many even have a tanning cupboard. From lotions to mousse and instant tan, many have different tanning products for different occasions.”
