About ten thousand years ago, when I would do bridal make up and make overs daily working in department stores and indeed pharmacies I always loved having a good loose translucent powder close to hand. Clients would always be slighly fearful when they would see the powder flying towards them, like icing sugar in the brush. What I always reassured them was that having a loose powder would ensure their make up lasted and it wasn’t as cakey as compacts could be.
