Opera Lane recently launched their take on the new season’s collections at the beautiful River Lee Hotel in Cork City.  The invitation said – It’s Been Too Long – Let’s Do Brunch and with a sea of familiar faces and some new faces too, the atmosphere in the room really reflected that sense of joy at meeting up again, to celebrate Cork city’s prime shopping area.

Julie Evans, marketing manager for Opera Lane opened the occasion by addressing the fashion flux currently visible in the stores.  “It reflects the times we live in where things are constantly changing.  Retro trends from the 70’s, 80’s, 90’s and Noughties are available along with contemporary trends too, so navigating the fashion offers can be challenging.   And this is where our fashion team of Natasha and Breeda can really help.”

Natasha Crowley, stylist, presented her take on the key trends for the season pulling on collections available in the Opera Lane stores including River Island, H&M, New Look, NEXT and Office Shoes.  There were pops of colour, practical shackets and a bit of glam – cos party season is definitely in the air.

Natasha was joined by the Opera Lane Personal Shopper Breeda O’Connell.  Breeda, demonstrated the trends on different body shapes showing how to make styles and trends work for the individual.  From the tall and straight to curvy and petite, Sarah, Ciara, Hannah and Anna of Assets Model Agency elegantly modelled the looks.

The Personal Shopping service is free to customers of Opera Lane and is available to both men and women.  It is most popular with those customers who require a wardrobe overhaul or who feel in a fashion funk and need to reimagine their look to suit who they are in the here and now.
