When it comes to fringes there’s almost always a fringe to suit every face shape. “Be it heart, square or a round face-fringe-combination, the key is where the fringe ends. Whether it’s a long fringe that accentuates the cheek bones or brow skimming, the most important thing is working it to fit the face shape and the jaw line” says Graham Molloy at Brown Sugar, Ranelagh.
Graham explains, “Fringes work really well with sleek long hair and equally as striking on a French girl bobs. Fringes should be worn either half way through the forehead, resting on the brow, or with a smooth, ‘swooping’ look of curtain fringe, draws attention to the cheekbones and balances out a wide forehead or strong jaw. A best way to freshen up your look.”
Michael Leong, Art Director for the new Brown Sugar shoot said, “Getting glamourous for Christmas is more exciting than ever this year after a year and a half in lockdown so when planning for this year’s Brown Sugar Christmas shoot a red lip was a must. Seen on this year’s autumn/winter fashion week shows like Carolina Herrera, Vivienne Westwood, Molly Goddard and Prabal Gurung, red tones give a festive, alluring and bold look. I paired the lip with a sultry soft Smokey eye keeping to brown tones rather than black shadows and liners to keep the look fresh and allowing the lip to take centre stage.”
