A NURTURING APPROACH TO BUILDING LASH VOLUME
Le 8 Hypnôse’s care-centric formulation addresses common mascara concerns, including difficulty applying product to hardened lashes and lash loss upon removal, which causes some women to avoid using mascara altogether.

Eight amino acids: Le 8 Hypnôse is powered by a concentrate of eight amino acids. These molecules form part of keratin, the protein that makes up the structure of hair and lashes. By infusing its formulation with these molecules, Le 8 Hypnôse rebuilds lashes, leaving them stronger and fuller.
Conditioning black balm with shea butter: intensely dark and enveloping, Le 8 Hypnôse’s texture allows colour to glide over lashes, creating a luscious full-bodied look. Shea butter enhances Le 8 Hypnôse’s nourishing nature still further, softening and nurturing lashes with extreme care. Our shea butter is sustainably sourced from Burkina Faso and certified by the Fair for Life programme. Wax-free, Le 8 Hypnôse is gentle, easy to remove and suitable even for sensitive eyes.
A SYMBOL OF INFINITE POSSIBILITIES
Recalling the amino acids in its formulation, the number eight is a recurring theme in the story of Le 8 Hypnôse. Laid on its side, the number eight becomes the symbol for infinity, a nod to the circularity of Le 8 Hypnôse’s recyclable bottle. Lancôme called upon historic French glassmaker Pochet Du Courval to create the bottle in solid glass and, in so doing, advanced Le 8 Hypnôse’s environmental performance while also elevating mascara application to a moment of luxury.
Juxtaposing straight and rounded lines, the bottle’s smooth and generous curves together with its recyclable plastic cap echo the shape of the number eight. The swooping curve at its middle ensures it sits easily in the hand, making it extremely comfortable to hold.
Meanwhile, the bristles of its precision ergonomic brush, made with ultra-soft plant fibres, also resemble the shape of the number eight. Together, they form undulating curves, which follow the shape of the eye and help Le 8 Hypnôse’s serum-infused formulation to glide effortlessly over lashes.
To apply, first, use the flat side of the brush to coat lashes evenly with mascara. Then, turn the brush 90 degrees so that its eight shapes become apparent. Sculpt lashes with the curved side upwards for perfectly defined volume.
