D is the scent of today.

D is the fragrance that wants to unite today’s generation and share its values. D is designed for people to come together and act for a better future.

THE CAMPAIGN:

The D movie is an ode to freedom and a celebration of youth. The film opens with the iconic red logo turning into a huge D bottle flying across the world.

It moves from pristine jungle to bustling cityscape, attracting people’s attention along its journey, and bringing them together, triggering energy and passion. The movie ends at a metaphorical rave party in the daylight.

Supervised by Glenn Martens, the D campaign is the portrait of a generation. The casting is both creative and connected — including artist and transgender rights activist Ella Snyder13 Reasons Why actor Deaken Bluman, TikTok sensation Nathan Hopkinson aka Curlyfrysfeed, and image maker, DJ and rapper Omizs.

THE FRAGRANCE:

Conceived by Givaudan perfumers Nisrine Grillié, Shyamala Maisondieu, and Louise Turner, D is Diesel’s first gender-fluid fragrance. A premium Fougere ambery, D is addictive, fresh, and dynamic. The eau de toilette contains two sustainably sourced ingredients: Bourbon vanilla infusion from Madagascar, and Diva lavender heart from Provence. Both ingredients are crafted for Diesel. D adapts and evolves with your skin.

First, you feel the energy of spicy ginger and aromatic lavender. After a few minutes, the fragrance comfortably adapts to your skin through the cotton-like freshness of the denim accord. Eventually, the fragrance evolves into a more sensual, warmer facet, with Bourbon vanilla infusion. D contains no animal-derived ingredients. It is available in refillable 100ml, 50ml, 30ml and 10ml formats.

THE PACKAGING:

The bottle’s design evokes the iconic ‘Diesel For Successful Living’ logo as if it has been crushed and crumpled in your fist — literally: leaving your mark. It is both playful and symbolic, envisioned to be the negative form of Diesel’s first scent Only The Brave’s bottle, with its iconic fist shape. The bottle’s cap resembles the rivets on a pair of Diesel jeans. Diesel is committed to innovating towards a more responsible future. That’s why D’s packaging has been entirely designed with a lower impact, and more eco-conscious approach — without making compromises on quality.

The bottle is made from 25 per cent post-consumer recycled, clear glass. For the first time, all formats of the bottle are refillable. Keep it and reuse it. The outer box, featuring a striking bright red D against a white background and the iconic Diesel red logo, is made from 55 per cent post-consumer recycled cardboard, the maximum that could be achieved while still ensuring the solidity and safety of the product. Diesel is dedicated to ending plastic usage by removing the cellophane wrapping of the outer box.
