The Jasmine petals – one of the ingredients in the All Hours Concealer formulation – are known for their soothing properties and originated in the YSL Beauté Ourika Community Gardens. A cooperative of 33 women grow and tend to each plant, as part of an unprecedented social program which strives to promote the skills of the region’s inhabitants to advance their financial independence.
In addition to creating job opportunities, the precious ingredient of Jasmine keeps the Concealer aligned to YSL’s unique heritage. The Jasmine is selected, grown and harvested sustainably, and carefully extracted to meet the strictest standards in terms of effectiveness.
ALL THE RESULTS ARE IN, AND EVERY SINGLE ONE IS REVOLUTIONARY
Delivering long-lasting, comfortable coverage where needed, All Hours Concealer has already proved it has earned its place in the heart of the YSL Beauté consumer. Over 24 hours, 97% of those trying it reported a “breathable” sensation, 96% enjoyed the feeling of weightlessness on their skin, while 64% noticed the cover lasted.
Thanks to the high percentage of skincare ingredients within the formulation, All Hours Concealer scored exceptionally high in tests on skin texture. After 14 days, 95.3% observed their skin as looking smoother; 90.7% said it felt softer; while 77.3% of those who tried it noticed their skin looked firmer.
All Hours Concealer also showed it can be relied upon for long lasting complexion perfection. After 14 days, 90.7% reported a reduction in signs of fatigue, while 83.3% said their fine lines and imperfections were less visible. As well as minimising dark circles (90.7%), 72% liked the matte finish of their complexion, while 67% felt their skin looked more luminous during the 24 hours.

CONCEAL, SCULPT, ENHANCE: DO IT ALL
YSL Beauté developed for the launch of All Hours Concealer a new “Y” signature application technique which consists in drawing a “Y”-shape on the face to conceal dark circles and imperfections, softly sculpt face features or enhance complexion. The multi-purpose applicator together with the new “Y” technique allows everyone to Do-It-All, with ease and precision.
- Conceal and soften crow’s feet using the broad side of the applicator, draw a “Y” under the eyes. Then blend, using the tip of the applicator.
- Sculpt your face with a lighter shade to brighten and bring dimension. With the slim side of the applicator, draw a line from the bottom of the nose to the corner of the mouth, and using the broad side, draw a line from the end of the cheekbone and connect the lines. Blend the “Y”-shape you have just created to form a sculpted look.
- Enhance your complexion with a full-face application – using the broad side of the applicator, skip your foundation and draw a “Y” on your cheeks and from the bridge of the nose to above the brows. Then blend the texture evenly.

Thanks to cutting-edge technology, a spectrophotometer, and an algorithm, the YSL Beauté Labs were able to scientifically craft the ideal All Hours Foundation shade range. Using this same method, the All Hours Precise Angles Concealer comes in 18 shades, made for all skin tones. Every skin tone from light to dark and in between now has a concealer to match it.
How to Find the Correct Concealer Shade in 3 Easy Steps:
- First identify the colour family you belong to, choosing from Light, Medium and Deep
- Next, identify your Undertone. Are you Cool, Neutral or Warm? You can do this by putting a sheet of white paper next to your face. If your complexion looks yellowish compared to the white paper, your undertone is Warm. If it looks pinkish, your undertone is Cool. If you don’t see any significant colour, you are Neutral.
- .Once you know your tone and undertone, identify your colour intensity, from 1 at the Lighter end of the spectrum to a 10 for the Deeper end of the spectrum.
Crack Your Shade Code:
Taking the first letter of your Color Family choice, e.g. L for Light, M for Medium or D for Deep, add the first letter of your Undertone choice ie C for Cool, N for Neutral or W for Warm.
And now add the number from the spectrum. The final combination of three letters and numbers is the shade you require e.g. LW7=Light Color Family, Warm Undertone, 7 Intensity.
