Lu & Mol’s jewellery and gift shop on Upper Esmonde Street in Gorey opened just over a year ago. Its novel giftware includes jewellery, artisan pieces, bags, candles, journals and gift-cards. It is owned by Áine Breen, a talented jewellery designer and silversmith who makes Liwu Jewellery, as well as stocking unique Irish and European jewellery and gift brands. Her Liwu brand of handcrafted silver and gold pieces are sold globally, online, and take pride of place in her jewellery and gifts emporium. Featuring meaningful symbols from Celtic lore and other ancient traditions, Liwu Jewellery is elegant and understated. The personal message behind these symbolic pieces, from the Trinity Knot to the Tree of Life, make them a popular special occasion gift. Liwu is the Chinese word for gift, and the success of Liwu Jewellery has gifted the talented designer her latest opportunity to immerse herself in the world of boutique retail in Wexford.

Say I love you or You’re my Best Friend
The latest new trend in permanent personal adornment, welded anklets and bracelets, is exclusively available in Lu & Mol’s, the only place in the South-east of the country to offer such a service.
A choice of silver and gold welded anklets can be attached to the body, as one continuous chain that cannot be taken off, and don’t have a clasp. The permanent jewellery is ideal for anyone forgetful, anyone who loses jewellery, who likes a perfect fit, or who just dislikes uncomfortable clasps that get in the way! Welded anklets, single or multiple, are curated in Lu & Mol’s private studio, and are especially popular in summertime. The jewellery is easily rewelded if it catches on something, and can be snipped off, if needed. Anyone over the age of ten can have permanent jewellery, as the process is completely safe and pain-free. The price is also pain free as it costs just €50 for the service.
Stocking Fillers
A curated selection of giftware includes bags, candles, diffusers, journals, jewellery caskets and gift-cards that are ideal Christmas stocking fillers. The Gorey gifts emporium also takes orders for bespoke jewellery, while jewellery repairs and engraving are available too.
Gift wrapping is included with all instore and online orders, and there is the option to click and collect from the Upper Esmonde Street giftshop in Gorey. The store is open Monday to Saturday, 10.00am – 5.00pm and on Sundays for the month of December. https://www.luandmol.ie.
