August Bank Holiday Lobster Festival At The Purty Kitchen
The Purty Kitchen in Dún Laoghaire is celebrating all things lobster with a Lobster Festival from Friday, August 1st to Sunday, August 3rd
The star of the celebration is Irish lobster from local supplier, Georges Fish Shop in Dún Laoghaire. Guests will be welcomed with a glass of prosecco on arrival before diving into a lobster feast. The centrepiece is a whole lobster, served alongside a 10 oz sirloin steak, chunky fries, tobacco onions, Jersey Royal potatoes, and a crisp side salad.
To complement the meal, The Purty Kitchen has selected two perfect wine pairings, a bottle of bold Signature Malbec from celebrated female wine maker Susana Balbo, or a bottle of a refined Eduard Delaunay Bourgogne Chardonnay, allowing guests to tailor their experience to their taste.
“We’re really looking forward to welcoming guests for our Lobster Festival this August Bank Holiday weekend. We hope it adds a little bit of added luxury and a wonderful food experience for all.” says Mark Heather, Co-Owner of The Purty Kitchen.
Adam Brack-Sinnott, Head Chef at The Purty Kitchen, has also developed smaller plates to celebrate Irish lobster: a lobster roll with homemade prawn cocktail crisps and a lobster and crayfish croquette will be available throughout the weekend.
The Lobster Festival dinner for two is priced at €200 and is available from Friday, August 1st to Sunday, August 3rd. Bookings can be made now at www.purtykitchen.com.
