Our suite in the Manor House was a masterpiece of Victorian charm. Lavishly furnished with opulent furniture and thoughtful touches, the room boasted a freestanding antique bath, plush linens, and breathtaking views of the sprawling 55-acre estate. Each of the 12 suites in the Manor House tells a story, echoing Killashee’s rich history while delivering an experience of pure indulgence.
Food and Beverage Excellence
Upon arrival we indulged in a festive afternoon tea which was decadent and instead of bubbles we tried some of the festive cocktails which were delicious and the perfect accompaniment to the elegance of the Pippin Tree. An extra mention to the pianist who was incredible.
Dining at Killashee is an experience in itself. While fine dining at The Pippin Tree comes highly recommended, we chose a more relaxed option at the Oak & Anvil bar. This beautifully designed space exudes a casual yet sophisticated atmosphere, where you can unwind and savor hearty, flavourful dishes. Our meal was outstanding—comforting classics elevated with skill and locally sourced ingredients.The steak was the best I have eaten in a long time and cooked to perfection. The casual element of the bar ,means it is relaxed but the team are so attentive. The team here, once again, deserves high praise. From their attentive service to their deep knowledge of the menu, it’s clear that they take enormous pride in ensuring each guest feels special.
After dinner, we retreated to the Larkspur Lounge, a cosy yet elegant space ideal for a perfectly crafted cocktail. With the gentle hum of conversation in the background and the option to catch a match on the screen or simply people-watch, it’s the kind of place where you can truly relax and savour the moment.
