BEATS AND TREATS – KEADEEN IS WHERE IT’S AT THIS DERBY WEEKEND
It’s Heating Up to Be a Spectacular Weekend of Pre- and Post-Racing Fun at The Keadeen Hotel
It’s all about beats, treats, and Derby weekend chic as The Keadeen Hotel in Newbridge, Co. Kildare unveils a show-stopping lineup of entertainment for the Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby, taking place from Friday, June 27th to Sunday, June 29th. As part of its newly launched Legacy Series, The Keadeen is transforming into a vibrant hub of style, music, and racing tradition for one unforgettable summer weekend.
And if you’re looking for where the real party happens after the races, it’s at the “Beats and Treats” on Sunday, June 29th—Newbridge’s ultimate post derby racing celebration, hosted exclusively at The Keadeen Hotel.
Headlining the night is none other than celebrity DJ Mo Kelly, one of the most in-demand names on Ireland’s social circuit. A firm favourite at the most stylish parties in Dublin, Mo Kelly is regularly seen spinning tracks at luxury brand launches, and the most exclusive red carpet afterparties in the city. With a sound as polished as her signature style, DJ Mo knows exactly how to keep the energy high and the crowd moving.
She’ll be joined by international saxophonist ‘Natalia Sax’ whose live performance will add flair, soul, and sparkle to the set. Their “Trax and Sax” collaboration promises a post-racing party atmosphere that blends elegance with electric energy—served with gourmet bowl food, squishy couches to lounge on, and a crowd that’s ready to keep the Derby buzz going well into the night. Tickets are just €25, including food and entertainment.
But the weekend’s fun starts long before Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby Sunday!
On Friday, June 27th, it’s time to let your hair down at the hilarious “Pig & a Pint” garden party hosted by Irish presenter and online sensation James Patrice, appearing in full fabulousness as his iconic character ‘Malahide Woman’. With a BBQ, live entertainment, fashion prizes and a whole lot of sass, it’s the most outrageous (and stylish) way to launch Derby Weekend. Tickets: €25, includes food, entertainment and surprises galore.
Saturday, June 28th brings a touch of class with Bottomless Brunch from 11am to 1pm. Bubbles, full Irish breakfasts, and live racing commentary from former champion jockey and broadcaster, Fran Berry make it the ideal pre-Curragh warm-up. The Keadeen Hotel will also sponsor the final race on the Saturday card. Tickets: €49, including brunch, racing tips, return transfer to the track and admission ticket.
Michael Masterson, General Manager of The Keadeen Hotel, said, “As the closest hotel to The Curragh Racecourse, we’re perfectly placed to deliver an unbeatable weekend of pre- and post-racing entertainment. The Legacy Series is about blending the rich racing history of The Keadeen with new, exciting experiences—and there’s no better time to showcase that than Derby Weekend. Whether you’re a local, hotel resident or a racing guest, we’ve got something special for everyone.”
With its long-standing ties to Irish racing—once home to legendary trainer Paddy ‘Darkie’ Prendergast—The Keadeen is stepping confidently into a new chapter with its Legacy Series, which will continue throughout the summer, including sponsorship at the Irish Oaks.
Three incredible events. One legendary weekend.
