Born Clothing opened to much fun and fanfare last week in Douglas Village Shopping centre creating 10 new jobs and bringing fun affordable fashion to one of Cork’s most stylish suburbs.

With a selection of ladies and gents fashions the 17th store in the Born family is a beauty. The layout is shopper friendly with the clothes merchandised by styles and colour. The fitting rooms are airy and at the back of the store near the tills for the ladies. Whether you are seeking a casual outfit for Sunday brunch or a wow dress for an occasion or date Born has you covered. Their focus is on affordable pieces that can be worn more than once.  The men’s section has comfy casuals and some sharp shirts for the all-important job interview or night out.

The team were so friendly and on hand to offer tips and tricks and advice on compiling the perfect outfit. Sometimes dress shopping can be tricky, but the buying team have catered for all body shapes and considerations. The trend-focused boutique has some classy pieces that give a gentle nod to the more outrageous trends sometimes available on the catwalk. Colour and pattern are also in plentiful array with a great mix of denim and faux leather.

As Douglas Village is a family-friendly shopping centre the shop has plenty of buggy manoeuvring space and free parking too. There are plenty of coffee spots, other shops, pharmacies and salons too to help you indulge in some retail therapy.
