BPerfect Cosmetics is thrilled to announce its new role as the Official Diversity and Inclusivity Partner of the Gaelic Players Association (GPA). This landmark partnership, announced today at the home of Gaelic Games in Croke Park, is a testament to BPerfect’s unwavering commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion in every walk of life.
CEO of BPerfect Cosmetics, Brendan McDowell, together with Brand Ambassador Annalivia Hynds, and Gaelic Games stars Aimee Mackin of Co. Armagh, and Conor Meyler of Co. Tyrone, stepped onto the iconic pitch to make the announcement. They were joined by Gemma Begley, Head of Equality and Player Relations at the GPA.
Brendan shared his excitement about the partnership: “It is truly incredible for BPerfect to be involved with an organisation like the GPA, which mirrors our dedication to fostering a supportive and equitable environment. This collaboration underpins our commitment to supporting both male and female athletes in the sporting world, ensuring it remains a safe and inclusive space for all.

Our sponsorship will enable us to make a substantial difference in the lives of players by supporting the GPA’s personal development and welfare programmes such as educational scholarships and counselling supports. This will really help players from diverse backgrounds achieve their full potential both on and off the field.”

Tom Parsons, GPA CEO, added “We look forward to bringing this partnership to life with BPerfect Cosmetics who align with so much that we do. The BPerfect team walk-the-walk in celebrating diversity, driving innovation and caring for its’ people.

The GPA supports players to pursue whatever it is they are passionate about away from the field of play, to achieve their potential and personal fulfilment. What Brendan and BPerfect has accomplished to date is the epitome of following your ambitions with self-belief and commitment, and BPerfect is now backing players across the country to similarly follow their own path.”

The GPA is the representative body for Inter-county players, supporting over 4,000 current male and female athletes. Established in 1999 and merged with the WGPA in 2020, the GPA stands on four core pillars: Player Representation, Player Welfare, Player Development, and Equality. The association’s mission is to enable players to balance the huge demands placed on them with the opportunities, support and investment required to allow them to be their best, on and off the pitch.

The Le Chéile partnership between the GAA and GPA sees funds from BPerfect and other GAA/GPA sponsors directed towards several key initiatives that benefit amateur players in all counties. This follows on from BPerfect’s sponsorship of Aeracha Uladh GAC, Ulster’s pioneering LGBTQIA+ inclusive GAA team earlier this year, further underscoring their mission to drive positive change within the sporting community.

BPerfect Cosmetics is committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of Inter-county players and looks forward to an exciting and innovative partnership with the GPA, championing diversity, inclusion and equality in communities countrywide.
