This festive package (from €138 per person sharing, available on 17th March only) includes a freshly cooked full Irish Breakfast, Afternoon Tea with an Irish twist and a two-course meal in the Cellar Bar. Guests will be given a complimentary corsage to wear to the renowned St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Killarney. After returning from the parade, guests will be treated to a traditional Irish Dancing display and harpist in the newly refurbished Drawing Room at Cahernane. A two-night stay is also available from €199 per person sharing on the 16th and 17th March.
The 48-bedroom property sits on 6.4 acres of verdant grounds and is located on the edge of the Killarney National Park. Cahernane is also the gateway to the Ring of Kerry which is steeped in ancient history, blessed with warm and friendly people and offers the visitor a treasure chest of memories that will last a lifetime.
Its neighbours include the magnificent Muckross Abbey, a 15th century monastery and Muckross House which is the sister property of Cahernane House and was once the residence of Henry Herbert’s brother, the original owner and builder of the house.
The owners, PREM Group have spent over €7.8 million on an ambitious renewal programme and the results are truly stunning. There are 12 bedrooms in the original Manor House, 28 in the Garden Wing and the former Coach House, once home to the horses and carriages of the Herbert family who built the house is now the setting for 8 new luxurious bedrooms.
