Recently, Great Lengths, the world’s leading hair extensions company, launched the 2019 Great Lengths Awards in Ireland.

To celebrate the return of the Irish awards, taking place on Sunday, September 22 in The Morrison Hotel in Dublin, Great Lengths ambassador Glenda Gilson was out in style as she was announced as the official MC of the Awards ceremony.

Wearing show-stopping gowns from Synan O’Mahony, top Irish model and Great Lengths VIP January Russell emulated pure old-school Hollywood glamour as she was also announced as celebrity DJ on the night.

The Great Lengths awards celebrate the ‘creme de la creme’ of hair extensionists in Ireland and are open to any stylists certified in Great Lengths extensions.

Entries are still open and will close on Monday, July 1. Entries will be judged by a leading panel of beauty and industry experts including Great Lengths VIP and top model Holly Carpenter, beauty editor at IMAGE Magazine Holly O’Neill, beauty editor at Irish Tatler and editor at U Magazine Amy Heffernan, editor at FRINGE Magazine Tara Corristine and editor at Creative Head Ireland Anna Samson.

Winners of the coveted awards in each of the seven categories on the night will walk away with a Great Lengths trophy and certificate to display in their salon and an amazing trip to Rome to visit the Great Lengths Head Office and production facility. The prize includes 5* luxury accommodation, meals and transfers for two people.

Speaking about this year’s awards, Great Lengths CEO, Joscelin McCourt said:

We are incredibly impressed by the entries into the Great Lengths Ireland Awards so far. The awards are a fantastic way to recognise the passion of our amazing certified stylists and celebrate the outstanding talent we have around Ireland with a night full of sparkle and fun in The Morrison Hotel. There is still plenty of time for stylists to enter so we are encouraging our extensionists to get their creative juices flowing. Entries close on 1st July!”
