Freddy Jeans has launched a new renovation plan intending to safeguard nature. (RE)MOVE Freddy’s Sustainability Commitment, is a program aimed at making their manufacturing process increasingly sustainable. The WR.UP® SS22 is the first collection created in pursuit of this great ambition: Removing waste to realign ourselves with our natural side. This is the first collection from Freddy Jeans that is entirely made of eco-friendly fabrics.

This collection was created using high-quality products while being environmentally and socially responsible. They use sustainable materials and practices, so you can feel good about buying from them.

Freddy Jeans Co-Founders, Malindi and Elena Demery commented; “We are thrilled to announce this evolution of the Freddy brand. Never has there been a more important time for everyone to consider the impact of their choices and consumption on the environment. The move to becoming whole sustainable is a commitment which perfectly aligns with the ambitions of Malena LTD (exclusive distributors of Freddy). In order to fast-track, this transition Malena will be offering an exclusive discount on all previous season stock in the Freddy ranges from mid-June until the end of July. We are excited to present our organic and sustainable ranges to the Uk and Irish market and we are sure our customers and retailers are going to love them.”

Sustainable jeans are becoming increasingly popular as people become more environmentally conscious. Freddy Jeans sustainable jeans are made from sustainable materials, The cotton is 100% organic with recycled elastomer. Accessories like zippers, buttons, plates, and elastics are all made from partially recycled materials. The garment tags are made of recycled paper. The polyester comes from plastic bottles that have been recycled and turned into new fibre and all the bags in the collection will be made of biodegradable and compostable plastics. Furthermore, Freddy offices only use energy from 100% renewable sources and have started ISO 14001 certification processes for our sites, as well as GOTS/OCS and GRS certification processes for their fabric suppliers.

Sustainable jeans often cost slightly more than regular jeans, but the extra cost is worth it for the peace of mind that comes with knowing you are doing your part to help the environment. Plus, sustainable jeans can be just as stylish and comfortable as any other pair of jeans!

The jeans retail between €89- €149. All styles are available on their website www.freddy.ie and available in sizes UK6 – UK 18.
