The brand VanityX was started in 2009 by makeup artist and entrepreneur, Debbie McQuillan. After years of training with various colleges Debbie decided to create an up-to-date curriculum and course that focused on the art of makeup, ensuring her diverse training would allow students to gain employment on completion.
They have grown from one small room in Swords, Co. Dublin to three bustling Academies. VanityX opened in Dublin City Centre in 2014 and in Cork in 2016. In the meantime they have travelled as far as Dubai to hold masterclasses and also opened an Academy in London, but for the time being VanityX has decided to focus on their home grown Irish Academies.
