Known for her catchphrases and memorable moments on television, Gemma has become a beloved media personality, businesswoman, and advocate for body positivity. Her participation in Belfast Pride underscores her commitment to supporting the LGBTQ+ community and celebrating diversity in all its forms.
BPerfect Brand Ambassadors Taylor Rae Falconer, Shannon Mitchell, Cara Kinney, Emma Kearney, LMD, Ally McGinn, Fiona Morgan, Lauren Gavigan, Laura Agnew, Kegs, Deirbhile Kelly, Nicole Adams, Shona Kelly, Lauryn Rooney, and Geraldine Leyden also joined in on the celebrations, making their way to Club Thompson where excitement built as Gemma took to the stage to host the highly anticipated Belfast Idol competition alongside Gerry Lavery. The venue was transformed with stunning Pride-themed décor and photo op areas featuring pink glitter floors, flower wall backdrops, ribbon installations, lanterns, and more.
Nominees were selected from the crowd, and were invited up to the stage to showcase their unique talents, from lip syncs to dance performances. Gemma and Gerry took the reins on the judging panel, scoring each participant between 1-10. Gemma then took to the DJ decks alongside BPerfect’s Brendan McDowell to party the night away!
