Ireland’s leading names in television, fashion and beauty gathered at the InterContinental Dublin as Mark and Kira Walton unveiled two luxurious new VOYA body care innovations

Some of Ireland’s most recognisable television personalities, broadcasters and style figures gathered at the esteemed InterContinental Dublin Hotel last night for a breathtaking candlelit dinner hosted by VOYA, the world’s number one organic seaweed brand, founded right here in Sligo, Ireland.

Fresh from co-hosting the Rose of Tralee, Kathryn Thomas led the star studded guest list alongside Ireland AM presenter Elaine Crowley, Irish media and television presenter Anna Daly, broadcaster and writer Maia Dunphy, model and activist Thalia Heffernan, presenter and podcaster James Kavanagh and one of Ireland’s fastest growing influencers and IT girl of the moment, Jennifer Wrynne.

Kathryn also turned heads in a beautiful statement top by Irish designer Anneliese Duffy Fallon, founder and creative director of The Linen Shirt Company, with huge roses on each shoulder giving her a striking, sculptural silhouette. James Kavanagh was overheard playfully teasing Kathryn that, after presenting the Rose of Tralee, she will now “only wear roses”.

The intimate celebration marked the global launch of two new VOYA body care innovations, Iridescence Awakening Sugar Scrub and Vibrancy Luxury Body Butter, with the brand’s founders, the very fabulous Mark Walton and Kira Guckian Walton, travelling from Sligo as the evening’s guests of honour.

The VOYA PR team (Rob Kenny PR) transformed the Library Room at the five star InterContinental Dublin into a striking ocean inspired setting for an exclusive sit down dinner attended by 40 leading Irish press, celebrities and influencers.

Wild foliage and cascading greenery ran along the tables, cleverly mimicking the movement of seaweed beneath the Atlantic Ocean and reflecting VOYA’s position as the world’s number one organic seaweed brand and the world’s first certified organic seaweed based skincare brand. Mandarins, limes and living peppermint plants were woven throughout the event design in a nod to the hero ingredients within the two new launches.

The wow table design immediately had influencer guests taking out their phones as the dining room was revealed, with the spectacular setting quickly appearing across social media.

Kathryn Thomas, a self admitted “huge fan” of VOYA, brought further star power to the intimate occasion just weeks after fronting two of Irish television’s biggest live nights at the Rose of Tralee. Elaine Crowley also stepped out following an exciting personal year in which the Ireland AM favourite secured the keys to her first home in Dublin.

Maia Dunphy joined the celebrations following a busy run of television projects, including appearances on Tracks & Trails and Museum of Me, while DWTS’s Laura Nolan added her trademark positive energy to the room. Kilkenny based James Kavanagh brought his signature hilarious personality to the evening, regaling Mark and Kira Walton about how much he “adores” their hero product – their now world famous ‘Lazy Days’ VOYA seaweed baths.

Also in attendance were designer and broadcaster Sonya Lennon, top style and beauty influencers Shauna Lindsay, Jennifer Wrynne, Ashley Kehoe, Chloe McGinley, Joanna Cluskey, Emma Kehoe, Celine Charles, Joy Porto, Rosalind Lipsett, Miriam Hussey, Cathy Martin, Liz Dwyer, Siobhan McCauley and more.

Following a gorgeous cocktail reception, guests took their seats for dinner before Mark and Kira personally introduced Iridescence Awakening Sugar Scrub and Vibrancy Luxury Body Butter as a complete new body care ritual.

Two New Sensory Body Care Launches

Iridescence Awakening Sugar Scrub is a cooling, peppermint infused polish inspired by the natural exfoliating action of sand along the seashore. Organic sugar crystals gently buff away dull skin, while mineral rich seaweed extracts and sweet almond oil leave the body feeling soft, smooth and revitalised.

The ritual is completed with Vibrancy Luxury Body Butter, an intensely nourishing blend of organic shea butter, cocoa butter, rosehip oil and wild harvested seaweed. Essential oils of lime and mandarin give the rich body treatment an uplifting citrus scent while helping to restore softness, elasticity and luminosity to dry skin.

“Self care rituals should engage every sense while delivering visible performance,” said VOYA Co-Founder Kira Guckian Walton. “The combination of refreshing peppermint in Iridescence, followed by the uplifting citrus blend of lime and mandarin in Vibrancy, creates a complete sensory journey. It is about restoring vitality, mood and radiance from head to toe.”

From Sligo to the World’s Leading Spas

Born on the wild Atlantic coast of Sligo, VOYA has grown from a small family business into the world’s number one organic seaweed brand. The award winning company combines generations of Irish seaweed bathing tradition with modern skincare science, and its luxury products and treatments are now found in some of the most prestigious five-star spas, hotels and resorts across the globe.

The launches also coincide with two new professional VOYA spa experiences: the Awakening Body Wrap Ritual and the Sole Revival Foot Ritual, both incorporating the new peppermint scrub and lime and mandarin body butter.

Iridescence Awakening Sugar Scrub is priced at €58 for 200g, while Vibrancy Luxury Body Butter is priced at €46 for 200ml. Both products are vegan-friendly, certified organic and available now from www.voya.ie, selected luxury stockists and VOYA partner spas worldwide.
