It has been 3 years since Revive Active first conceptualised a nutritional supplement to support women experiencing menopause. Two of those have been dedicated to an intense period of research and development in consultation with experts in various fields of nutrition and science, and after three years Meno Active was brought to market, a unique product scientifically formulated for women to take throughout their menopausal journey.
This year, Meno Active introduce Soya Isoflavone to their ingredients list. Soya Isoflavones are a family of naturally occurring chemicals found in soya beans. The main isoflavones in soya are Genistein and Daidzein, Genistein is one of the best known and researched isoflavones. Meno Active now contains 135mg of Soya Bean extract which provides 40% Genistein, in comparison to other products on the market that contain Soya Isoflavones that only contain 3-4% of the actual ingredient.
Ahead of launching Meno Active, the formulation team made the decision to exclude Isoflavones from the original formula due to the fact that they were unable to source a suitable potent soya bean extract that would have a substantial effect. Since launching Meno Active the team continued to search for the highest quality Soya Isoflavone that would provide a high concentration of Genistein and would complement the existing ingredients. After 6 months of extensive searching, the team was successful. Soya Isoflavone (Genistein) is now included in the product bringing the number of ingredients up to 31 at no additional cost.
Dr Fiona Barry PhD BSc Lic Ac MBAcC and member of the Meno Active formulation team expresses “I’m delighted that we have finally managed to source a quality Soya Isoflavone that is appropriate for inclusion in Meno Active. We carried out research with 50 women and after 3 months of taking the product, 65% had noticed an improvement in their wellbeing. Now we’ve added another potent ingredient to the already comprehensive formula. In my opinion, Meno Active is the most comprehensive food supplement on the market for this phase of a woman’s life.”
Revive Active continue to maintain the highest standards and only use premium well-sourced ingredients that have a positive impact on their customers wellbeing. Along with the new ingredient, each sachet of Meno Active contains:
- 28 active ingredients including Vitamin B6 which contributes to the regulation of hormonal activity
- Omega 3 DHA which contributes to the maintenance of normal brain function
- Biotin, Magnesium, Thiamine and Iodine which contribute to the normal functioning of the nervous system
- Niacin and Vitamin C which contribute to normal energy-yielding metabolism
- Chromium – contributing to the maintenance of normal blood glucose levels
- Each capsule contains three plant extracts: Ashwagandha, Sage and now, Genistein
The green tea which was previously in the capsule is now included in the sachet. This freed up space in the capsule for the Genistein and negated the need to add an additional capsule to the daily combination.
Therefore, maintaining the dual combination of one daily sachet plus one daily capsule. It is suggested to take one sachet and one capsule, once a day, preferably 30 minutes before food. Meno Active is free from artificial preservatives, flavours, and colours. It is vegetarian friendly and is suitable for people with diabetes. As with any nutritional supplement please consult your qualified healthcare professional before use, especially if pregnant, breastfeeding, if you have a known medical condition, are taking HRT or any other medication.
