Nicole O’Brien Latest Single ‘Love Me Louder’ Brings Electrifying Dance Floor Ready Beats Blended With Raw Emotion

“Tell me what it’s gonna take
Your frequency has got no base
Need to feel it in my body
I want you just to want me”

Nicole O’Brien is back with an electrifying bang with “Love Me Louder”, a scintillating dance floor-ready power anthem filled with pure, raw emotional lyrics deep with meaning.

A fearless love letter to desire, vulnerability, and the intoxicating power of wanting to be wanted, Love Me Louder opens with a chill, “I see the way you look at me, In the shadows quietly” immediately hooking you in for an emotional rollercoaster filled with infectious beats, sultry vocals and meaningful lyrics.

Mixing vulnerability and boldness, Nicole’s empowering energy is front and centre throughout the track, creating an alluring experience that resonates on the dance floor and beyond, all the while showcasing Nicole own evolution as a singer.

At its core, Love Me Louder is a statement of empowerment, independence and discovery.

Originally a contender for Ireland’s 2025 Eurovision submission, Love Me Louder was first heard when the submitted version was leaked to X, formally Twitter, by a number of Eurovision fan accounts, instantly generating thousands of streams, praise and calls for it to be released ‘immediately’! After returning to the studio with Writer and Producer Liam Geddes, Nicole reworked the track to make it completely her own before releasing it to the masses.
When speaking about the new track, Nicole shares, “This track is more than just a love song—it’s a reflection of my journey toward vulnerability and authenticity. It is my way of saying, “I’m ready to be seen.” It’s about wanting others to love me louder, to connect with me on a deeper level, and to embrace the story of who I’ve always been. In a world dominated by filtered images and curated personas, I’ve kept a lot of myself in the shadows, unsure of how much to share. But “Love Me Louder” is my invitation to you to truly know me—not just the version of me that fits into social media, but the real, unfiltered person behind the art.”

When discussing her Eurovision journey, Nicole says, “I submitted Love Me Louder for Eurosong to represent Ireland, something I’ve dreamed of for as long as I can remember. At first, it was hinted that I had a strong chance, so when I finally received the news that I didn’t make it, I felt disheartened. It was hard to process but I understood and this industry can be up and down constantly.”

“To my surprise, the song leaked online, and suddenly, I found myself flooded with messages congratulating me for making it to the final 6. It was a strange and bittersweet moment—especially online, where it felt like a carrot had been dangled in front of me. While the situation was tough to handle, it was also validating to see that my track went viral for all the right reasons, that’s when I realised, this song has to be released. It also won’t stop me perusing Eurosong 2026! Watch this space!”
