Singer songwriter Una Healy hosted the stylish ‘DOOP by Lidl’ pop up beauty salon launch event in No. 5 Andrew Street in Dublin city centre on Thursday, 6th March. Unveiling the discount retailer’s new line of luxury-inspired beauty and skincare products set to rival the big brands.

 

The DOOP by Lidl launch event took over the No. 5 Andrew Street salon, complete with ‘DOOP’ monochrome backdrops, a tranquil Ár Ocean room and a reenergising Glow Room inspired by Lidl’s best selling Marbella Glow self tan range. The glamorous occasion saw Irish beauty media and influencers alike enjoy the preview experience with a special appearance from campaign ambassador and singer, Una Healy.

 

Una welcomed guests with a toast, while she shared her support for Lidl’s skincare and hair care range and what it means to have affordable and convenient beauty products made available to consumers, as well as sharing her insights on some of the new affordable beauty products such as the Headshock Revitalising Hair Mask and Glossy Hair Oil, as well as the Face Facts Bronzing Glow Drops and Perfect Prep Primer, that have made it into her daily routine.

 

Guests were treated to a glass of Lidl’s best-selling Henry Dubois champagne while skincare expert Corinna Tolan gave an informative skincare demonstration, sharing insights and top tips on how best to use Lidl’s beauty products to achieve high-end results for less.

 

Guests in attendance included TV personality, Kathryn Thomas, podcaster and beauty writer Louise McSharry, comedian Mary-Claire Fitzpatrick, as well as producer Debbie O’Donnell and influencer Siobhan O’Hagan.

 

Upon leaving the event, guests were treated to a generous goodie bag filled with some of the beauty, hair and skincare essentials set to launch in Lidl’s 128 stores nationwide from Thursday 20th March.

From March 20th, Lidl shoppers can shop the brand-new line of beauty, hair and skincare products which are inspired by some of the big-name brands such as K18, Drunk Elephant and Sol de Janeiro to name a few.
