Award-winning Irish haircare and beauty brands Voduz and BPerfect Cosmetics hosted the first-ever TikTok Shop Creator event in Ireland at the iconic Round Room on Dawson Street, Dublin. Over 250 top creators attended this groundbreaking event, which empowered and educated TikTok Shop creators about its introduction to the Irish market and how they could use the platform to maximise their income. As the first Irish brands to host a TikTok Shop Creator event, Voduz and BPerfect led the charge in revolutionising the creator economy in Ireland.

Launched last month in Ireland, TikTok Shop allows users to buy products directly from sellers and creators, creating a way for brands, merchants, and creators to sell their products on the platform. This collaboration marked a new era of digital commerce, putting Ireland in the spotlight on the global stage.

The event, hosted by the charming and charismatic Gerry Lavz, delivered an unforgettable day of insights, inspiration, and interactive opportunities. Industry experts such as TikTok Ireland’s Katey McElroy explained TikTok Shop’s role in Ireland and how successes in other markets opened doors for Irish creators. Voduz Marketing Manager Michéal Campbell and BPerfect Social Media Marketing Manager Ciara DeCarteret shared the success their brands had already experienced in the UK Market using the platform, highlighting opportunities for Irish creators to follow suit.

Speaking about the event, Michéal stated, “At Voduz, we’ve always believed in harnessing the power of digital platforms to connect with our audience. TikTok Shop offers an incredible opportunity for creators to showcase their entrepreneurial spirit, and we’re excited to share our success story and help others create theirs.”

The panellists discussed how creators could monetise their content, the perks of being a “Star Creator,” and strategies for elevating their profiles to attract top-tier opportunities.

Voduz Co-Founder Denise Phillips provided personalised consultations during the event, helping creators better understand their products before entering the marketplace to sell. Attendees also enjoyed an interactive BPerfect Cosmetics game, where they won free products, extra commissions for their sales, or credit towards their purchases.

The afternoon included a variety of workshops, such as “How To Sell On Live Streams,” hosted by Sean Murphy, TikTok Live Marketing Executive at BPerfect Cosmetics, and Aoife Hughes, Social Media Marketing Executive at Voduz. These sessions taught creators about optimal setups, timings, and ultimate engagement tactics. Affiliate success stories were also shared, with established creators such as Stephanie Vavron, alongside Melissa Jade (400k+ followers), JustNina (315K+ followers), and Jenny from WinginMaLife (170k+ followers) sharing their journeys, content tips, and hosting a live Q&A session. These stories armed attendees with the knowledge they needed to achieve their goals.
