The Aesthetics Awards 2024, held last Saturday at the Radisson Blu Hotel & Spa in Cork, was an unforgettable night, celebrating the outstanding achievements of Ireland’s aesthetics industry. The inaugural event honoured those who are pushing the boundaries of beauty and establishing new standards of excellence by bringing together the best and brightest in the field.

Andrea Hayes, our wonderful compère for the evening, guided us through the night’s celebrations, while our esteemed judging panel, including Mary-Jane O’Regan, Michael Mulcahy, Celia Holman Lee, Charlene Corkery, Mary O’Donnell, and Colette Lynch, played a pivotal role in recognising the achievements of all nominees.

 

As we reflect on this incredible night, we are filled with pride and excitement for the future of Irish aesthetics. Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to making this event such a success.

 

 

Special Guest Speaker: Dr. Dev Patel

 

The evening began with internationally recognised aesthetic physician, speaker, and trainer Dr. Dev Patel. In his speech, Dr. Patel emphasised that aesthetics is not just about making people look better, but more importantly, helping them feel better. He highlighted the responsibility professionals in the industry carry, stressing the importance of authenticity.

He finished with a powerful quote: “As we celebrate tonight the excellence in the room, I wish you the very best and ask you all to keep pushing, to keep driving, learning, and innovating. We are not only part of the future of aesthetics; we are shaping it.”
