These irresistible temptations are the inspiration behind Akro, a fresh and innovative fragrance brand capturing the essence of a hit, a high, and a rush – the taste of everyday pleasures. This original  endeavor has been lovingly executed by Master Perfumer Olivier Cresp and his forward-thinking daughter  Anais. 

Thanks to Olivier’s expertise and Anais’s ingenuity, nine extraordinary scents were born: seaweed, hazelnut, cumin, and whiskey are just a few of the unconventional notes that shape this unique collection.  Olivier has combined these outliers with superb ingredients from the Firmenich palette, the renowned  perfumery where he has formulated fragrances since 1992. 

“Akro is for people that don’t like to say no, for people that live life through excess.”  explains Anais Cresp. 

  

THE STORY:  

SMILE is a new fragrance inspired by the pursuit of joy and born out of a unique family  connection. Many years ago, as a young girl, Akro founder Anaïs Cresp asked her  father, the master perfumer Oliver Cresp, to create a perfume just for her, one that  nobody else in the world would have. Olivier set about creating a scent that was as 

powerful as it was personal—a bottle full of joy for his daughter to carry through life.  To do this, he combined notes of sage, bergamot, and raspberry, building a bright and  vivid fragrance that could work at any time and any place. For years, Anaïs kept this  scent to herself, but now she wants to share it with the world. SMILE is a fragrance to  brighten your day. 

 

THE SCENT:  

Smile is a fruity explosion composed of notes of bergamot, natural raspberry and musk.  It’s a fragrance that conjures up the sublime feeling that passes through our skin when  we are happy. SMILE is happiness in all its splendor, a frenetic and delicious feeling  that we love to experience again and again.

THE PROMISE: Akro has pushed fragrance beyond established norms. In building this initial collection,  Olivier Cresp experimented with over a thousand fragrant combinations.
