Redcastle Oceanfront Golf & Spa Hotel Launches New Outdoor Hot Tub and Sauna Experience, “Bubbles and Breakfast by the Bay” Package (from €160 per couple) and a New All-Day casual dining concept at The Edge restaurant

Redcastle Oceanfront Golf & Spa Hotel, Donegal, is pleased to announce the launch of its new outdoor hot tub and sauna experience, alongside an exciting new overnight package, “Bubbles and Breakfast by the Bay,” and a refreshed all-day casual dining concept at The Edge, the award-winning restaurant at the hotel.

Set against the stunning backdrop of Lough Foyle, the new outdoor hot tub experience invites guests to fully unwind in warm, bubbling waters while taking in the crisp Donegal air and sweeping coastal views, along with access to a new outdoor sauna. Guests can enhance their visit by upgrading their stay from €25 per person or fully immerse themselves in the experience with the “Bubbles and Breakfast by the Bay” package — a thoughtfully curated overnight escape.

This package includes a luxurious overnight stay with full Irish breakfast, 45 minutes in the outdoor hot tubs, access to the outdoor sauna, a complimentary glass of bubbly, and full use of the leisure facilities, including the indoor pool and gym. This staycation option offers the perfect balance of relaxation, comfort, and coastal charm.

What’s New on the Menu at Redcastle Hotel & Spa

Alongside the new wellness offerings, the team at Redcastle Hotel & Spa has unveiled a new menu concept, centred on high-quality, feel-good favourites that reflect a growing demand for relaxed, casual dining.

The menu combines comfort and quality, with standout dishes including slow-braised lamb shank with creamy champ and roast root vegetables, beer-battered Donegal haddock with fresh chips and homemade tartare sauce, and a rich Indian chicken curry served with basmati rice.

Guests can also enjoy stone-baked pizzas, gourmet burgers such as a Korean chicken burger with Asian slaw and sticky dressing, and a selection of pasta dishes including tagliatelle carbonara and spicy penne.

A strong plant-based offering ensures broad appeal, with dishes such as roast butternut squash and chickpea korma and king oyster mushroom rigatoni.

Desserts complete the experience, with indulgent favourites including sticky toffee pudding, chocolate brownie, cheesecake, and caramelised apple tart.

General Manager Owen McGee said:  “We’re delighted to introduce these new experiences at Redcastle Oceanfront Golf & Spa Hotel, which are all about giving our guests more ways to relax, reconnect and enjoy their time with us. From the outdoor hot tubs and sauna to our new ‘Bubbles and Breakfast by the Bay’ package and refreshed all day dining menus – every element has been carefully designed to enhance the overall guest experience while showcasing the unique beauty of our location on Lough Foyle and the Wild Atlantic Way.”

The menu, which was created by Head Chef Gordon Smyth, is available 7 days a week, across The Edge Restaurant, Captains Bar and The Deck.
