Chris Mee Group are currently seeking motivated professionals to join to our Tech Team in Cork office.

As the IT Administrator, your focus will be on providing a high level of professionalism and service. You will be responsible for collaborating with other members of the team to implement technical design solutions, provide support, as well as assisting in the administration of the software systems.

You will report directly to the IT Manager and the responsibilities will include:

Management of the IT hardware asset lifecycle. This includes laptops and all mobile devices, ensure identification, status and verification of all items are maintained in the asset management database.

Support colleague onboarding, role changes and offboarding including distribution of hardware devices to local offices and remote sites.

Provide troubleshooting for hardware and software related issues for colleagues

Provide application support to hosted and cloud-based systems

Configuring and issuing new hardware to end users

Device troubleshooting – Office 365 repair, Windows updates, driver updates, software package installation and removal, printing and scanning problems

Collaborate with department leaders on companywide continuous improvement projects

Assist with the development, deployment and support of the company’s eLearning products.

Work with various departments to ensure good data management practices.

Support and development of internal software systems including CRM, HR and project management suites

Responsible for monitoring of IT systems and identify the appropriate resolution in the event of an incident

Requirements

  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Good attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate through various mediums at various levels
  • Knowledge of LAN, WAN, VPN and RDS
  • Knowledge of Office 365, Active Directory Windows 7, 8 and 10
  • Degree in an IT related subject preferred but not essential.
