Aoife McNamara is thrilled to launch her latest collection, Season 10: ‘Remember’. This collection was inspired by the profound importance of reconnection with the land and Irish roots and embodies the essence of sustainability and craftsmanship.
As one of Ireland’s leading pioneers in sustainable fashion, Aoife McNamara’s mission has always been to reconnect the fashion industry to nature. ‘Remember’ is a testament to Aoife McNamara’s unwavering commitment to the environment, which is displayed vividly throughout the collection.
‘Remember’ is a beautiful 18-piece collection that draws inspiration from the beauty of nature and the connection between individuals, the land and our heritage. ‘Remember’ boasts luxe tailoring spanning co-ords, blazers and coats, delightful dresses and blouses with unique twists including bows, exaggerated sleeves and intricate button details, which is synonymous with Aoife’s reputation for playful and feminine designs.
The collection was beautifully and thoughtfully shot in Dublin’s Airfield Farm, aligning with their sustainability ethos, and worn by women ages 21-50 years old demonstrating the versatility and timeless nature of the collection. Operating with a zero waste policy, any leftover materials from core collections are repurposed and used to design accessories such as her popular hair scrunchies.
Each garment has been thoughtfully designed and is made exclusively with sustainable materials sourced from Irish suppliers. Irish woven wool is a key feature in this collection, all sourced sustainably, ethically and holistically by John Hanly, Woolen Mills.
Gorgeous breathable Irish woven linen can also be seen across various pieces in the collection, made from biodegradable material from County Wexford. As linen is one of the world’s oldest fabrics and is sewn into Irish History, this collection could not be complete without it.
Since September 2023, Aoife McNamara is proudly the first B Corp fashion brand in Ireland, achieving 94.4 points in its assessment, exemplifying its commitment to a better and more sustainable future for the fashion industry and the planet.
