New Season, New Make Up Looks! As homegrown faux tan favourites Iconic Bronze make moves in the make-up sphere, the new Cut Crease Queens Collection x Olivia McVeigh & Emma Kearney includes everything you need to put your best face forward and slay the night away!
Now, Olivia and Emma are sharing their signature looks designed with an artist’s touch using a variety of their favourite shades from the new Cut Crease Queens Palette. The dynamic duo talk us through how we can achieve these striking creations at home with the help of their masterful tips. No strangers to bright colours, the pair have shown us how to play with different tones and vibrancies to create glamorous perfection.
The collection includes a luxurious 8-piece brush set, illustrious eyelashes, of which there are two varieties, perfecting & concealing primer to create the perfect eye base and lastly, the standout 24 shade eyeshadow palette featuring bold shimmers to neutral mattes in a mix of pantones and textures. This complete collection ensures you have everything on hand to create a showstopping look and evolve into an Icon in seconds!
- Starting out by applying the cut crease queens base in shade neutral using the CCQ02 brush, & blend out using CCQ03 from the 8 piece brush collection for a perfect blank canvas
- Next using the shade ‘glas’ the matte green shade from the cut crease queens palette, and buffing this into the crease using CCQ04
- Then picking up shade ‘bois’ on a CCQ05 brush, to blend out our first shade, applying this right above the natural crease
- Then to further Buff out your blend use shade ‘High’ on a CCQ05 brush on the outer parts of the lid & apply shade ‘deadly’ to the crease to add depth
- Now take your CCQ base again to cut the crease, the CCQ02 brush is perfect for this, make sure to apply in a stamping motion to create your seamless cut, the base dries matte so no need to set it!
- Next to add a little glitz I’m applying the shade ‘OMcV’ on the middle of the lid & ‘Crown’ in the inner corner to create an ombré look using a CCQ07 brush
- For liner I’m using CCQ01, our double ended angled brush and shade ‘deadly’ and stamping this shade across the lash line for maximum definition – apply this underneath the lashline also & take the same shades underneath to tie the look together, what goes up must come down
- To finish I take the Olivia Lashes, cut to eye shape & apply for some extra drama!

- To prep the eye I am using our CCQ base in the shade neutral which I am applying with our CCQ03 brush, I then carve out the brow using our CCQ02 brush for a more defined look, and then I pick up the shade “High” on our CCQ07 brush to start outlining my desired shape.
- Now picking up the shade “Annie” on the same brush creating a smooth blend between the yellow and orange.
- Mixing two of my favourite browns “Lucy” and “Donn”, start to deepen the crease with our CCQ05 blending brush.
- Now for the iconic part, the cut crease! I use our CCQ02 brush and our base and pack down the product in my crease area just below the shadow, the base sets down matte.
- I then take the shade “High” and apply in the inner corner for a pop of colour, followed by the shade “People” using the CCQ08 brush! The blend between the base and shadows is immaculate.
- I then use our CCQ01 brush and the shade “Deadly” as liner, which I also used on my lower lashline! I repeat the same shadows under the eye as I did on top. With our CCQ06 brush I apply the shade High, Annie then Donn underneath to create more definition! Last but not least the iconic finishing touch is the Emma lash! I cut and adjust my lash to fit perfectly on the eye for the most amazing winged finish!
