Many of Ireland’s top presenters, sports stars, radio hosts, and celebrities gathered last night for the highly anticipated Virgin Media Playhouse exclusive launch event. The invite-only event was to celebrate the opening of the Virgin Media Playhouse, which opens to the public (for free!) running for two days only.

 

An Evening of PLAY

Guests arrived in style, greeted by a distinct ‘Virgin Media red’ red carpet, adorned with Virgin Media branding and vibrant lighting that set the tone for an unforgettable evening. The Dublin Science Gallery has been transformed into a ‘giant adult playhouse’, and these influential guests got to experience it first.

Noteworthy Moments

  • Football Simulator Showdown: Guests including Nadia Dan and Natasha Rocca Devine and took each other on at the Football Simulator game area. Their competitive spirit gathered an enthusiastic audience, with cheers and laughter filling the room as they showcased their impressive football skills.

  • Retro Arcade: Gaming enthusiasts Adam Kelly,Paulina Jarzab and Leila Ecker indulged in a night of nostalgia at the Retro Arcade section, battling it out in classic games like Pac-Man and Mario, bringing back memories of their childhood gaming days.

  • Trip of a Lifetime: The Godfrey Twins were spotted adoring the 360-degree immersive experience in the Trip of a Lifetime area, exploring stunning virtual destinations and sharing their excitement with followers through live updates.

  • Dance Off: James Kavanagh got into the groove at the Dance Off zone, competing to be the best dancer in the room. Their energetic moves and playful banter were a hit among guests and their online audiences alike.

  • Ball Pit Photo Op: Rozalind Lipsett, Pamela Uba, Rob Kenny took advantage of the vibrant Ball Pit Photo Op, snapping fun and colourful photos that quickly became viral on social media.

  • Director Studio: Johnny Ward and Paddy Smyth took advantage of their TV experience in the Director Studio corner, creating hilarious movie scenes and engaging their followers with behind-the-scenes content.

Tickets for the Virgin Media Playhouse event are free and available now on virginmedia.ie/playhouse and limited entry is on a first-come, first-served basis until capacity is reached. The playhouse will be open from 12PM to 7PM each day on July 5th and 6th.
