With over 17 years in the industry, Caroline began honing her craft at 14, after her father built a salon for her to practice in, and ultimately treat clients from at home. It was clear to see her drive, passion and creativity for hair from the very start. Having built a strong and stable customer base in Northern Ireland, making herself synonymous in top hair care and colour trends, Caroline set her sights further afield and moved down under intending to make a name for herself in Australia.
Quickly becoming a force to be reckoned with, Caroline spent 6 years in Perth, Australia, spending her time learning new skills, training fellow stylists and progressing within her career in any way that she could, resulting in opening her own hairdressing salon, named ‘Hidden Hair’, for 3 of those years, before returning home to be close to her family once again, and opening her second Hidden Hair studio in County Tyrone, Northern Ireland. The idea of creating an interchangeable wand came to Caroline 3 years ago when she returned from Australia. Struck by a family tragedy, the birth of Be Almai was put on the back burner, but not forgotten about. Always researching and trialling samples, Caroline pushed forward to create her first range of products, ensuring she was bringing the best quality to the market. Known for her specialist techniques in Blonde’s, Balayage, Colour Correction and Styling, Caroline was the only stylist across the UK and Ireland to make it to the final 18 out of over 311,000 entries in the 2018 Behind The Chair One Shot Hair Awards, which took place in San Antonio, Texas, and was attended by top celebrity hairstylists Chris Appleton and Ireland’s own Andrew Fitzsimmons.
